Flowery Fun!

Disclaimer: This post contains a review
of an American Girl Doll outfit provided
by One Girl's Dream.  All opinions are
my own.
Hi!

The lovely Mary Ann from One Girl's Dream has generously sponsored me with an adorable American Girl outfit for me to review!!!  Audrey is a lovely model for it. :)

Isn't it lovely?

 Audrey loves it!

And she looks so adorable in it!

 Cute!

 Peek-a-boo!

I LOVE IT!!!

Isn't this outfit gorgeous?!?!?!  I think Audrey looks fantastic in it!

This outfit is fantastic quality, AND it comes with shoes and a necklace!!!  Pretty cool, right?  The denim vest comes off (forgot to take a picture of that... oops), which makes it a very versatile outfit; you can have a pretty dress, a vest with it, or the vest with a different outfit!

The dress has a very lovely floral print, and the vest is lined with the same fabric as the dress.  The dress has a tank top-style neckline, and looks adorable on the doll.  This outfit is definitely a new summer staple for my girls!  The vest is a bit hard to get on and off because you have to re-string the twine in the front every time.

The shoes are WAY too cute, and are so realistic!  They even have a buckle on the sides!!!  The necklace is a gorgeous pearl choker, and goes super well with this outfit!!

Pros:
Great quality.
Versatile outfit.
Comes with shoes and necklace.
Beautiful fabric.
Adorable shoes.
Pretty necklace.
Easy on/off of dress.
Great velcro closure.

Cons:
Difficult on/off of vest.

Even with the difficult on/off of the vest, I would still give this a 5 out of 5 stars!!!  It is just way too cute, and super versatile!!!  I LOVE it!  One Girl's Dream is an amazing shop, and if you're looking for a cute outfit for your doll, then One Girl's Dream is the place to go!  There are so many cute outfits that both you and your doll will love so much, you'll be jealous that you can't get it in your size!!!

Thanks so much, Mary Ann!  My dolls and I are in love with this outfit, and we love your shop One Girl's Dream!

Thanks for reading!

Sew Fun!

Hi!

So, I recently got a sewing machine, and I have been getting frustrated with it because I haven't been able to work it real well.  With the purchase of our sewing machine, we got 3 free classes at the sewing store (where we purchased the machine).  Well, yesterday my great friend and I went to the class together, and I learned so much!!!  It was super fun, and I learned a lot of different techniques, and we were given several great project ideas!  Well, after the class, my friend and I REALLY wanted to sew something, so we made some adorable bags and an apron for her little sister!

My bag. (My friend and I made matching ones.)

I love the pattern!

It has a velcro closure.

Fancy fancy fold! :)

I did a five-string braid with twine for my strap.  My friend had a really cute old belt that she used. :)

I absolutely LOVE my new bag. :)  Do you like it?  I am actually selling them for $15.  I can also make other patterns.  If you want to buy one, please email me and I'll give you the details and also the different patterns. :P

Thanks so much for reading, and I'm so excited to finally get back to my regular posts!!!

AGcessories

Hi!

Today we will be featuring Talia from AGcessories for my 75 follower goal/blogoversary giveaway!  Talia is giving away adorable American Girl Doll Juice Boxes!  First, a little bit about Talia:

Dolls have always been a big part of my life.  As a child, I collected barbies and that continued into my teens. That was before I knew of American Girl.  I have also been a crafter since my teen years.  Now that I have a daughter who loves American Girl, I have found a way to combine dolls and crafting.  I loved making accessories for her dolls so much that I wanted to open a shop to make them for other girls (and grown ups ;)) to enjoy. Each doll item I make is crafted with lots of love and care, and I try to make sure every item is unique and fun.  My daughter's AG dolls gives me an excuse to play them with her. She is almost 9, and I have a 4 year old boy who occassionally takes one of his sisters' doll food items and feeds it to his action figure. When I am not spending time with my kids or making doll things, I enjoy reading, organizing, and I love google. I google everything! Thank you so much for taking time to read a little about me and my shop!

According to Emma

Hi!

Today we will be featuring Diane from According to Emma for my 75 follower goal/blogoversary giveaway!  Diane is giving away a beautiful American Girl Doll outfit!  First, a bit about Diane and her shop:

I started sewing when I was six years old, teaching myself by trial and error.  I sewed my own clothes for years, as well as doll clothes and quilts.  Fast forward to my youngest daughter, Emma.  She insisted on getting a sewing kit for her 6th birthday because that was when I learned to sew.  She's now 10, and learning by trial and error herself, with a little help from Mom.  She is the inspiration for all of the doll clothes that I now sell.  She has final design say on everything I make, and believe me, she has quite an opinion.  I hope you enjoy our little shop as much as we do.

Thanks, Diane!  Your outfits are SO CUTE, and I just love the one you made for my giveaway! :)  Diane is wonderful to work with, and all of the clothes in her shop are beautifully made and are fantastic quality.  See more of her adorable outfits below:

That's Lolli!

Hi!

Today we will be featuring Wendy from That's Lolli! for my 75 follower goal/blogoversary giveaway!  She is giving away the AG headband and matching girl and doll set.  First, a bit about Wendy:

I am an Arizona girl who met a Georgia boy in college. We dated for a few months and knew we wanted to get married. Later that year we did!

Now I am living in GA with my husband and three children. My husband is a PhD candidate and I get to play at home with my kids.

I started making flowers for my little girl. This soon led me to selling them to a local shop to help pay for our groceries. I have loved every minute of it.

Two years ago I meet a wonderful lady who I teamed up with to sell at craft shows. She makes American Girl Doll clothes. She said I should make things for the dolls hair. I did. That is how I starting making doll accessories.

I take great pride in my work. I love being able to share my craft. I am grateful to have been able to help support my family in a small way while my husband has been in school. I am grateful and have been so blessed.

Thank you so much, Wendy!  Wendy is wonderful to work with, and her items are unbelievably cute! :)  She sells many more items than just AG headbands and clips; she sells many adorable  accessories!  See some pictures of them below.
