1. What is your name (or Blogger name) and age (if you don't want to say your age, that is just fine :)?  Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Mika.  I am a double-digit aged girl and I love American Girl Dolls.  I blog about them here. You can also find me here or here.  I hope you check out my blogs!

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

My blogs are mostly about dolls, but I also blog about my photography and and my stories.  I started blogging about 6 or 7 months ago, but I have always loved dolls and reading!

3. What are your hobbies?

Some of my hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, and painting.  I do love photography, too, and dolls.

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I am a major doll lover!  I have 4 dolls; Mikayla (JLY #13), Saige, Julie, and Olivia, my Bitty Baby.  I love them all!  I also have a Monster High doll, Laggoona.

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

I really love the Percy Jackson Book Series.  I love to read Greek mythology, too.

6. What is your favorite movie?

I have a lot of movies!  I couldn't pick a favorite.

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

I prefer reading the book before watching the movie.  I believe that the book is always more detailed.

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

I love mint chocolate chip ice cream with slices of brownie!

9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

I really like New York and Washington D.C., but I love Sweden most of all. {If you don't know where Sweden is, go look it up! ;) }

10. What do you like best about my blog?

I like everything!

My Blogger name is Dollygirl, I'm 12! I'm a huge doll lover, and I love to make crafts and read!


2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging? 

My main blog is Dollygirl's Treasures, which is about dolls, I also share Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with another girl named Jordy. And I'm one of the bloggers in Pretty Little Dollies Collab Blog! I started blogging because both of my sisters and mom all had blogs, so I started Dollygirl's Treasures.


3. What are your hobbies?

Dolls, books, swimming, and I collect little dolls called Teenie Beanie Boppers.


4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones? If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I'm a (huge) doll lover, and I have the American Girl's Samantha and Kit, they're historicals!


5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

I really like the Little House books, American Girl books, and Harry Potter!


6. What is your favorite movie?

Ooh, that's a tough one! I'd have to say either Kit Kitteredge or Molly McIntire (American Girl movies)!


7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

Definitely read the book before watching the movie!


8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

Um...probably Cookie Dough!


9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

I don't really know, either the beach, or Stratford (a place in Ontario)!


10. What do you like best about my blog?

EVERYTHING!

First off, I want to say thank you to all of you who have been sending in interviews!  I have been getting so many interviews!!!  It has really helped me, because right now my life is pretty crazy, and I haven't had a ton of time to post, so this is really great for me. :)  Thanks. :)

1. What is your name (or Blogger name) and age (if you don't want to say your age, that is just fine :)? Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Chloe, but most refer to me & my dolls as Our AG Adventures.  I am simply just a girl who likes dolls with a camera and a blogger account.

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

My doll's blog is Our AG Adventures, which is pretty much life in their point of view!  We sometimes do crafts, but it's pretty much random! :) 

I started blogging over a year ago for my brother.  I wanted to be a part of the AG Blogging Community like many other bloggers I saw, so I created a website the day before Easter.  About a week later, I moved my blog from Wordpress to Blogger!

3. What are your hobbies?

Blogging, photography, surfing, making pancakes, and creating stopmotions! 


4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones? If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I am 110% a doll lover! :)  I have a total of 8 dolls, all American Girl.  I have JLY #19 Caroline, Mia GOTY 2008, Lanie GOTY 2010, Kanani GOTY 2011, Molly Historical, Abagaile MAG #37, Lindsey GOTY 2001, and Saige GOTY 2013.

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

The Hunger Games! :D


6. What is your favorite movie?

That's hard! But I really like Star Trek: Into Darkness, Auntie Mame, The Avengers, and My Fair Lady!


7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

Movie before book! ;) 


8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

Mint Chocolate Chip! :D


9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

I was lucky enough to go to The American Girl Store in Houston for the grand opening, and that is probably my favorite memory, and favorite place to go to!

I'm Christina, I'm High School age but I've been home schooled all of my life. :)  I love to be outside, but I also like to create, a lot.

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

Simply Dollightful is my doll blog where I can post all of my doll related ideas.  Idlewild is my blog about myself where I post whatever I want to.  I started blogging because my brother had been for a couple years and I thought it seemed fun!

3. What are your hobbies?

Sewing, baking, piano, acting, creating. :)

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I am a doll lover and I have two AG dolls!  I have Kirsten and a retired Just Like You (My AG) named Rebecca.  I have other dolls but I don't count them because they're not really play dolls.

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

Anne of Green Gable series, so funny!  Or The Chronicles of Narnia.

6. What is your favorite movie?

The Princess Bride.

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

I prefer to read the book first, it's always better than the movie, and I know the movie will be different.

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

Anything with chocolate.

My name is Kayla! I am 12 years old! I am a christian. I have a complex personality. :) Its hard to put it in words. I am home schooled, and yes. I am social! :D I love the color pink and teal blue! I Love writing! Music! And sports, or anything outdoors. I also love american girl dolls. And reading! :)

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

My blog Laugh 'an Love is about practically everything! I blog about my life. Photography. Fashion. God. DIYS. Inspirational stuff. Comedy (Or what I think is funny! XD). Practically Everything! 

 I started blogging because I wanted to keep in touch with my family in Canada. Eventually I decided I wanted to blog for fun, for me, and other people! To share my personality and just me! :)

3. What are your hobbies?

Piano, singing, soft ball, writing, reading, skiing (In the winter time), photography, and being ME!

I like so many books I like! Here are a few:

 The 39 clues!

  The door within trilogy

  Nancy drew books ( I have every single one)

    Every type of book I can get my hands on!

Never mind. This is the toughest question of my life.

    Lets just say a LOT of movies!

All of the chronicles of Narnia movies! How to train a dragon. Wreck it ralph. And SOOO many others!!!!

Except furry vengeance!

 ( If you have ever watched furry vengeance, you feel my pain! )

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

Depends on which one was made/written first. 

  If the book was made first, then I would prefer to read the book! Because when you read the book first, you have in your mind the characters, the scenery, the point! The movie ruins it, by totally ruining your mind set!

 The movie spoils the book!

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

  Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookie dough, Chocolate fudge brownie, Moose tracks, Peanut butter.... And the list goes on! I just don't like fruit flavored ice cream!

  Ice cream is the only food that I can eat and eat and eat! And never get full! No Joke!!!

9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

Carowins! Myrtle Beach! Disney world! Canada! The american girl doll stores! Ice cream shops! Recording studio! ext....  XD

10. What do you like best about my blog?

Your contests! Your amazing posts! And every thing else! :)

Probably change the layout! Yours is good and all.. But it needs a little something different.. :)

Today we are going to be interviewing Sayoko from Simply Sayoko!

1. What is your name (or Blogger name) and age (if you don't want to say your age, that is just fine :)?  Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Sayoko Tachibana, and I'm 13 years old.  I love writing, drawing (especially anime/manga), and I've been a gymnast for nine years - four in Japan, five in America.

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

My blog, Simply Sayoko is just a place for me to rant, share whatever is going on in life, and post pictures from time to time.  A few friends of mine: Eriko, Natsuko, Hyun-Ae, Taro, and Nagi-chan post, too!

3. What are your hobbies?

Above all else, I am a writer and a gymnast.  In my spare time (which is rare!) I read, draw, study French and Hindi, and ride my bike.

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

Well... if I am a doll does that automatically make me a doll lover? ;)  I have three dolls, Rebecca, Nimi, and Uri.

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

My favorite series is A Series of Unfortunate Events.  If you like rather... bizarre books, then you'd like these!

6. What is your favorite movie?

The Help and any "scary" movies.

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

The book first!  Differences from book to movie are annoying!

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

I don't eat ice cream.  But I do like pomegrante-green apple frozen yogurt.

9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

Two-way tie between Ober Gatlinburg in Tennessee and the Mall of American in Minnesota.

10. What do you like best about my blog?

All of the different pages!

11. What would you do to improve my blog?

Absolutely nothing.  It's perfect! :D

I'm called Storyteller, and I'm just the perfect age for me. =D (haha)  Anyway, I'm a Christian writer who loves designing!! :)

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

Well, I have lots of blogs... But the one thing that all of my blogs have in common are stories, both continuing and ones posted on pages. :)  (And, of course, my randomness.... =P)

3. What are your hobbies?

Writing, designing, blogging, playing the piano, backyard volleyball, acting.... ;)

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I go to the library about once a week. ;)

Hmm... I don't know.  Of course the Bible is my favorite book, but since I think you meant NOT that, I'll try to think of something.... ;D  One of my favorites is The Plague (historical fiction). :)

I have lots, but one of my favorites is How to Train Your Dragon.

I prefer to read the book before I watch the movie. :)

My name is Flower Mae!  I'm 12 years old!!  I love crafting, sewing, baking, and shopping!! :)  My favorite thing to eat is cookies!

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

I have one blog, Crafting with Molly and Me!  I started blogging to share my ideas and to open an etsy shop for my handmade doll clothes!  (I am still working on that!)

3. What are your hobbies?

I play soccer, piano, and love playing with dolls! :)  I like to sew, bake, EAT, and enter/win contests!

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I have TWO dolls!  One is an American Girl Doll.  Her name is Molly!  I also have a Crissy doll!  I go to the library at least once a week!!

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

I love Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and Sisters in Time!

6. What is your favorite movie?

I LOVE the movie Grownups!  I like a lot of other movies too!  I especially like documentaries and comedies!

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

READ THE BOOK FIRST!  I love to read!  You'll also understand the movie more if you have read the book!  The bad side to that is the book is always better than the movie so it spoils it. ::

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

I LOVE mint chocolate chip ice-cream!!  It is so good!!  Especially if you get it from cookout!

9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

Disney World!  We had so much fun!!  I really want to go to an AG Place but I don't think my dad would like that! :)

10. What do you like best about my blog?

Well, I really like YOU!  You're really nice and we get along well!  I also love your design and all the great ideas you have!

11. What would you do to improve my blog?

The only thing that needs improvement is the amount of followers you have!  You deserve WAY more!

Interview with Melody!

Hello!

Today, we are going to be interviewing Melody from Pink Melody!

1. What is your name (or Blogger name) and age (if you don't want to say your age, that is just fine :)?  Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Melody Melone, but please call me Melody. ;)  I'm 13 years old.  I've always wanted a pet, but I can't have one because people in my family are allergic, so I fill that wish with stuffed animals!  I have tons of Build a Bears, (plus a '55 teddy bear) and just random fuzzy friends. ;)

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because my best friend Piper blogs and I thought it looked like so much fun!  I'm not really sure what my posts on Pink Melody are about.. Just my everyday life with a few twists of randomness. ;)

3. What are your hobbies?

I love to swim!  It's my favorite sport, and I've been on the team for about three years.  Other then that, writing.  Me and Piper write stories together, and it's a lot of fun to just let your imagination run wild!

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I have two American Girl dolls.  Elizabeth Cole, and a doll I designed to look like me.  Her name is Olivia.  My older sister has Josefina, but she lets me have her in my room along with my other two. :)  The happy trio has loads of fun together!

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

A Charmed Life.  It's SO good!  Piper lent it to me!

6. What is your favorite movie?

I love so many movies!  But if I had to pick just one, I'd have to say Princess Bride.  It's a classic!

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

I'm not really sure. :P  I have seen the Lord of the Rings movies, but I never read the books, because the small print is a little daunting. ;)

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

Strawberry all the way!

9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

We went to a National Park this last year called Death Valley.  I know it sounds weird, but it was a really cool place and it was so much fun sightseeing.

10. What do you like best about my blog?

Well for one thing I love your design!!  It's so cute!

11. What would you do to improve my blog?

Nothing. :)  I love it!

Interviews!!!

Hey Everyone!

I have started doing interviews on my blog!  I have a new page for interviews (check it out here), and all you have to do is answer the questions and send them to me either in a comment or via email.  Interviews are a great way to get the word out about your blog, and I would love to help you gain readership!

To kick off the start of my interviews, I have interviewed my sister, Lindsay, from Stories By Me!

1. What is your name (or Blogger name) and age (if you don't want to say your age, that is just fine :)?  Tell us a little bit about yourself. 

Hi!  My name is Lindsay, and I am 10 years old.  I have five pets; two dogs, two kittens, and one fish!  I love pets very much, and when I'm older, I hope to be a professional dancer and a veterinarian, at least right now. :)  I love to hang out with my family and play with my sister.

2. What are your blogs about, and why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because my sister, Grace, started, and it looked really fun!  My blog, Stories By Me, is about my stories, my adventures, and my thoughts and feelings.  Occasionally I do other kinds of posts, though.

3. What are you hobbies?

I love to dance!  I have been dancing since I was three, and it's my true passion.  I also enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking/rafting on the lake, hiking, bike riding, hanging out on the beach, swimming, making friends, skiing, and playing in the snow!  I like doing lots of things!

4. If you are a doll lover, how many dolls do you have, and which ones?  If you are not a doll lover, how often do you go to the library?

I am definitely a doll lover!  I really enjoy playing with American Girl Dolls!  I have three dolls, and I love them very much!  I have two gorgeous My American Girls; MAG #55 (Kate), and MAG #24 (Fern).  I also have the 2012 Girl of the Year, McKenna Brooks.  All of my dolls have lots of hair!

5. What is your favorite book (or book series)?

The Mother Daughter Book Club Series.  I also really like Wendy Mass's books!

6. What is your favorite movie?

The Sound of Music comes first, but I also really like the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies.

7. Do you prefer to watch the movie before reading the book, or do you prefer to read the book before watching the movie?

I'm not sure.  Normally I read the book before watching the movie, but it's not that I like one better than the other.

8. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

Well, it's a sherbet.  Wild and Reckless from Baskin Robbins is my favorite!

9. What is your most favorite place that you've ever been to?

Hmmmmmmmmm, I really like DisneyLand!

10. What do you like best about my blog?

That you include lots of pictures, and write about your experiences.

11. What would you do to improve my blog?

A bit more AG posts.

12. What are your top 5 favorite blogs?

I like all kinds of blogs, and I don't want to name favorites.

13. Would you be interested in guest posting on my blog?

Definitely!  I would be honored to post on your blog!
